I enjoy working with clients who are in need of developing coping skills which enable them to function more healthily and happily in their lives. My goal is to help relieve dysfunctional patterns that are preventing a client from reaching their potential in life. Discovering roadblocks to a client's need to move forward in life is especially interesting to me. Building a relationship with a client is very rewarding to me, because our best work is accomplished when I can gain the trust and respect of a client and therefore assist the person in moving toward the goals that we set in therapy.

My specialty is addiction: however it may manifest, although I have had many years of training and experience in addiction to alcohol and drugs. I also specialize in anxiety and depression treatment with a heavy emphasis on relaxation therapy and hypnotherapy, when indicated and deemed appropriate.
