Ms. Cecilia S Greene

Clinical Social Work/Therapist , LCSW

(312) 621-9166
I am a licensed clinical social worker with many years of experience treating clients with all the difficulties with which children, adolescents and adults struggle. Some enter treatment because they are wondering how they got to a point in their lives without accomplishing what they thought they should have. Others come because they are encountering too many obstacles during transitions in their lives and have a wide array of treatable feelings including depression, anxiety and anger that are difficult to overcome without help.
My eclectic approach has evolved from years of experience providing what will be most helpful to my clients. Treatment can result in not only the alleviation of the presenting difficulty, but the long term prevention of its repetition. Successful treatment takes place within the context of a supportive corrective emotional experience.
Currently I primarily treat late adolescents and adults. However, my years of experience as a child therapist greatly enhance my ability to treat those who are older with understanding, depth and creativeness.
