I have been providing psychological assessment and therapy services since 1997. In private practice, I work with individuals (adults, adolescents, children), couples and families experiencing a wide range of concerns. Special areas of interest include depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, parenting, family conflict, separation and divorce. I also am experienced in working with individuals facing issues related to self, identity, and sexuality as well as unique challenges confronted by LGBTTIQQ2S individuals and their families.
My approach to therapy can best be described as integrative, relying heavily upon the transformative power of emotions. I have received extensive training in several therapeutic approaches including emotion-focused, experiential, humanistic, cognitive-behavioural, self-psychology, and psychodynamic approaches.
My approach in therapy is very interactive and collaborative in order to ensure that the therapy is tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
