My aim is for you to discover your unique self and to find the peace, love and fullfillment you deserve. Therapy should be somewhere safe for you to share what is on your mind and feel accepted. I like to engage in mutual dialogue and I give direct feedback. I believe in the old saying "To Thine Own Self Be True"--Shakespeare. This has helped me in my own journey. My style is to offer you encouragement and support to find your INNER strengths and develop a Self Help tool box. I work with clients on improving communicating with others.

I am at best a "Brief Therapist", SOLUTION and RESULT oriented. We establish goals together and progress is usually within six months. Learning to pay attention to your voice inside and staying in touch with your feelings is a key element to good mental health.

I have worked 28 years with people from all walks of life who have mental health, sexuality, substance abuse, developmental disability,and aging/health issues. Experiencing these issues in my own family has given me useful insight and strong compassion. I beleive you will find me easy to talk with.
