I believe in each person's inherent strength and resiliency. The fact that you are reading this indicates that you have the courage to take one of the most important steps in your healing and growth...recongnizing your life is out of balance and choosing to seek help. I will work with you in partnership to identify and change the old self-defeating behaviors and beliefs that keep you stuck in unhealthy and unfulfilling patterns of life. I have learned that accepting and leaning into your pain, rather than avoiding it, is often the surest way to move through it.
I find it particulary rewarding to help people heal and transcend the wounds of trauma and abuse. I also work extensively with people navigating life after loss and grief. I integrate mindfulness, self-compassion, and acceptance based approaches with the theraputic tools of EMDR and body centered psychotherapy.
I also provide coaching services for those intersted in personal growth and development. We will work together to help you find balance, purpose and meaning in your life by exploring the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual componets of a life well lived.
