I have been providing therapeutic services for over 10 years, since graduating from Boston College's Clinical Program. Since then, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, providing individual, group, family & couples counseling. I have clinical experience working with clients coping with depression &/or anxiety, domestic/family violence, trauma, substance addiction, family/relational conflict, gay/lesbian clients. I have worked in a variety of settings, from inpatient to adult partial programs to outpatient clinical milieus.
The therapeutic process provides a safe environment to explore thoughts, feelings, behavioral patterns, increase insight needed to develop healthy coping skills, learn to problem-solve, & facilitate personal growth, healing & the changes desired. I practice Solution Focused Interventions & such therapies as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Treatment, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy.
My office is located in the heart of Mid City, off Canal Street's street car line or off Jeff Davis Pkwy's Bus Route. I am currently offering sliding scale for those clients in need, and carry some insurances (please inquire). I will be BASC credentialed by Oct 12'.
