In our first phone conversation, I can show you how I gently work to discover the heart of your troubles. Together, we can create the roadmap needed to genuinely solve your problems, get you back on your feet, and empower you to realize your full potential. My work integrates the most current research from neuroscience and attachment theory with cognitive-behavioral techniques and the pioneering work of Freud and Jung to help you address multiple levels of your challenges. You may find, as have many of my clients, that your immediate difficulties can be resolved in just a few sessions.

You can benefit from my two decades of experience as a psychotherapist, group leader, and educator. My work is also informed by my efforts as a gay person to overcome adversity to achieve a fulfilling life. Whatever your own background or sexual orientation, I can help you liberate your creativity and capacity for love.

You may come to discover that my gay-affirmative approach makes coming to therapy a judgment-free, joyful experience that can be powerfully supportive of you and your under-appreciated strengths, complexity and uniqueness. Rather than a grind, life can be an exciting opportunity with unlimited possibilities!

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult
