It seems that hearing what your partner meant to say is a difficult skill to master. However, learning to say what you intend to be heard is even more difficult. Imagine what it would be like if your partner, family or friends heard ONLY what you meant. Imagine if messages were delivered in such a way that no one took things the wrong way. I teach communication skills to couples, families and individuals and employers. Improvements in communication is the foundation for improving relationships.

I am nearing the end of my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. This qualifies me to work closely with individuals that have experienced the devastating effects of VERBAL ABUSE or may still be going through the trauma of VERBAL ABUSE. Healthy communication is crucial to a healthy relationship.

I work with PAIN PILL DEPENDENCY. This is an epidemic and must be treated differently than other addictions. There is a medicine to assist the ACCIDENTAL addict; SUBOXONE. Most accidental addictions to pain medications came as a direct result of a surgery. Though healed, the individual finds themselves addicted.

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult
