Welcome! I enjoy treating children and adolescents who present with a variety of behavioral concerns. As a cognitive-behavioral psychologist, my work emphasizes the use of evidence-based practices and data-driven methods to address the needs of the students with whom I work. I specialize in treating difficult/ complex cases, youth involved in juvenile justice, special education and residential settings, (but not exclusively). I conduct targeted assessments as well as comprehensive evaluations and implement behavioral interventions for students in many different settings. Treatment depth and length ranges from adjustment issues (a few weeks) to long-term (years).

My areas of specialty include disruptive behavior disorders (such as ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Conduct Disorder), self-injury/self-mutilation, anxiety disorders, and complex trauma (posttraumatic stress disorder). I also assist with medication monitoring and educational tracking of student progress.

I use evidenced-based practices and data driven approaches to treatment, which include the graphical representation of data to determine progress. Cognitive-behavioral intervention and treatment include (but are not limited to): desensitization, behavioral contracting, self-monitoring, contingency contracting, cognitive exercises, journaling, and the use of response cost. Please contact me for more information. Thank you!
