I am a licensed Psychiatric Social Worker with 17 + years of experience working in a clinical setting with children, adolescents, and adults as well as in schools and the community. I have served as a field instructor for SUNY Albany School of Social Welfare since 1996 as needed and I have done a rotation at Fort Drum New York providing mental health services to the families of active military personnel.
As a psychiatric social worker I am experienced in treating people with mental health disorders as well as working with families, with people who are experiencing relationship problems,and with people who are experiencing a loss or undergoing a major life change. I hold a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression, Trauma, and Anxiety.
I am particularly interested in helping people to create the life they really want to have and to do the things they really want to be doing. Evening and weekend hours are available.
