A compassionate collaborator, I'm here to accompany and guide you on your journey toward the restoration of hope and wholeness. Trust and emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual safety are essential to our work together. I work with people experiencing dramatic, unexpected life change, relationship/job separation, loss--including death of a loved one, complex grief, mental health, substance abuse, dual diagnosis, and recovery from physical, sexual or psychological trauma through self-discovery, healing and restoration of hope.
Based on a humanistic framework, my therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Enhancement, Gestalt, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused, Family Systems, Group Therapy and Psycho Education. I continually re-assess my work through the lens of cultural relevancy and social justice, both values I cherish.
Other specialty areas include Trauma-Informed Therapy and a non-judgmental, harm reduction approach to Counseling or Treatment for Marijuana Dependency.
