Mrs. Dana L Jackson

I am a counselor under supervision, meaning that I am a candidate for licensing and therefore work under a therapist. As a person who has had to deal with many of the challenges being faced today including single parenting, divorce & re-marriage, and raising a special needs child, I am thoroughly furnished with experiential knowledge. I am wife, a grandmother and of biracial heritage and understand the full meaning of grace. Relationships are my specialty. I provide compassionate counsel, faith based strategies and insight into life's very real challenges and I believe in providing care for the whole person.

Although I am equipped to counsel various groups of individuals, my undergraduate studies and experience are well suited for the African American community and those who may be considered as at risk. Life skills and goal setting are my strong suite coupled with mediation. These have worked in my life.

I believe in prayer and the counsel of God's word. In addition, that there is a plan for every life and that every person is valuable. Proverbs 3:5 says, Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding. He understands completely.
