“I approach this work as a collaboration. In my 15+ years of experience I have found that quiet listening will access us to our internal life, both verbal and unspoken. I specialize in body-centered psychotherapy to achieve this goal. Clients that benefit from this approach resolve relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, and personal crisis. These conditions often cause either chronic pain, autoimmune disease or an absence of physical connection with the body. I am succesful because I work with the whole person and get to the issues that stop them from living a full life.

My primary specialty involves developing body focussed mindfulness to increase full awareness and decrease negative defenses such as impulsivity, obsessive thinking, addiction, anxiety and depression. In addition, I focus on chronic pain to address trauma and its cosequent effects on the body. Mindfulness is a skill that enhances relaxation and living.

I combine classic psychodynamic knowledge with body-centered treatment that offers the client an in depth understanding of how their mind-body connection works. Clients complete treatment with skills to meet life's challenges.”
