I work with my clients’ innate resilience, providing support to people as they discover this resilience for themselves. This process can support reconnection with ourselves, each other, and our world.
I am a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. This unique approach to healing the effects of trauma is a naturalistic and gentle therapy for resolving the effects of stress, anxiety, and trauma. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help with skill building and Motivational Interviewing to assist clients through the cycle of change.
As a strengths based and somatically oriented social worker, I help adults rediscover this innate resilience and move through difficult times in life with increased ability to connect with self, other, and the world.
