My specialty is working with young adults (20's-30's) and adults, particularly within the LGBT community. My clients tend to be people who are either feeling stuck in some aspect of their lives or who are not living up to their fullest potential. My goal is to help them tap into their strengths and empower them to thrive.
I believe that the most important element to successful treatment is the connection between the client and the therapist. In my opinion, the era of working with a therapist with whom one feels no Earthly or human connection, has passed. I pride myself on being real with my clients.
I am a solution-focused therapist trained in Positive Psychology. I am very passionate about the work that I do and I expect my clients to match my commitment to their successful growth and development. My style is to build on strengths & promote long-term sustainable change.
