I believe that my life experience as well as my years as a practicioner of psychotherapy have prepared me to provide you with thoughtful and considerate help with anxiety, depression, relationship issues and other common psychololgical problems. My training and experience with hypnosis in the treatment of smoking cessation, weight loss, performance enhancement, and general anxiety issues add to my ability to assist you. Psychotherapy is a collaborative effort in which therapist and client work together to find effective solutions to emotional and behavioral problems, and I am well prepared to help you in this process.

I specialize in the areas of individual and couples psychotherapy. My approach would be considered Cognitive-Behavioral. The emphasis in treatment is on rational thinking, finding more reasonable ways of looking at and solving emotional and behavioral problems.

I have used Hypnosis for many years. Hypnosis, rather than being a specific treatment, is a valuable tool that can be used in the context of many treatment situations. Although Hypnosis has particular value in habit control and performance enhancement, it can be used effectively in many other treatment situations.
