Dr. David L Barnhart

I am excited to offer an intervention to improve attention by training working memory. We have an evidenced-based solution for ADHD, stroke, traumatic brain injury, aging, cancer patients and others with working-memory deficits. My philosophy of care is to be the best scientist-practitioner I can be. The most effective counseling occurs as a collaborative effort between therapist and client. My skills include completing a focused assessment developing an action plan with you to effectively build on your strengths.

I am accustomed to working with your personal physician or providing psychiatric care, when needed, through our own staff. My goal is to provide the best of service and care from me and Trinity Counseling and Behavioral Sciences of Alabama, Inc.

We have counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, and often interns in training with various special interests. We frequently work as a team and can provide a coordinated and effective effort to help you reach your goals.
