I specialize in a Reality Therapy approach to address the emotional and behavioral problems of adults and troubled adolescents. Whether you are beset by the small, irritating problems of every day that don't seem to have a solution, or if you have issues that erode the very foundation of your well-being: from anger problems to anxiety, from social skills deficits to depression, from interpersonal relationship conflicts to crises of identity, there are answers to be found. The goal of therapy is learning to make the kinds of choices that truly improve our lives and increase our happiness.

I believe therapy is an exploration of our inner thoughts and feelings. It is a personal adventure, sometimes familiar and comfortable, sometimes alien and scary. The goal is always to create a map that guides us to a place of happiness, purpose, and peace, within ourselves, and with others.

Why a Doctoral level Psychologist? Doctoral Psychologists have around six years of extra training compared to Master's level practitioners. We become experts in analyzing information and creating solutions to problems that are not cookbook techniques, but individually designed approaches to changing behaviors leading to happier and more fulfilling lives.
