As a practical, interactive, solution focused therapist, my treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. With sensitivity and compassion, I help clients find solutions to a wide range of life challenges and psychological issues. Blending conventional and alternatives approaches, I draw on a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. I work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult

Dr. David Kantra also hosts the following groups:

Yoga Assisted Therapy
150 S. Church St., Fairhope, Alabama
Every Wednesday at 6:30pm - 9pm
$100 - $110 per session

Yoga Assisted Group Therapy is a once per week, 2 ½ hour therapy group combining yoga, relaxation, meditation and group processing. The group is designed around the concepts of wholeness and balance. Stress and tension are (unfortunately) part of our modern lifestyles. All too often we let stress knock us off balance, leaving us feeling bothered and unfocused. Ongoing or un-managed stress can often lead to imbalance in our minds and bodies, with potentially devastating effects on one's health and feeling of well-being. Relaxation and meditation techniques have been clinically shown to play a significant role in promoting health and relieving stress.
