"Supportive", "Eye-opening", "Challenging", "Enlivening". These are words clients have used to describe our therapy work together. Many of the individuals with whom I work are experiencing relationship difficulties, life transitions, feelings of anxiety and depression, previous trauma, and loss. I strive to: help people gain increased awareness, learn to live more in the present, make better contact in relationships, and recognize the "shoulds" and other messages that are holding them back from experiencing more enriching relationships and a more fulfilling life. I believe that "symptoms" are actually creative adjustments made in response to difficult or invalidating environments and situations.

I am one of a small number of Domestic Violence Specialists in the state of Delaware, having spent over 11 years working with adolescents and adults who have experienced intimate partner abuse. I also have been privileged to accompany survivors of sexual abuse on their healing journeys.

I strive to co-create a space and relationship that feels safe for individuals to relate spontaneously and experiment with their full selves.
