I'm an experienced clinical psychologist with a flexible and collaborative approach to clients' needs. In an empathic and respectful environment we explore issues and problems, seek deeper understanding, emotional healing, and creative, adaptive solutions. I am curious about, and appreciative of, many theoretical traditions and therapeutic approaches, and have trained in: psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, relational/attachment, crisis and trauma, eating disorders and addictions, sex therapy, EMDR, gestalt, AEDP, DBT, coaching, mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, art and expressive therapies. I work with individuals, couples and families primarily in-person; phone and skype may be long-distance options.
My specializations include: trauma and abuse; depression and anxiety; self-esteem issues; eating disorders and addictions; various life, work, relational and existential problems; fertility issues; sex therapy; health, illness, and chronic pain; aging; grief and mourning; gender, lgbti and alternative lifestyle concerns; transcultural issues; and psychosocial aspects of workplace and human/civil rights issues.
