I believe compassion and understanding are critical to the counseling process. It also takes courage when you, the client,are willing to explore challenging issues in a safe environment. This promotes healing. Change is tough, but so much is possible when one can see and experience life in a new more satisfying way! For most of us, the stress of change(good or bad) can feel discomforting. I want to help clients become more familiar with their inner world and recognize that new choices can bring a more enjoyable life. This is an exciting journey and one worth taking.
I work with issues concerning grief and loss, trauma, couples/family, personal growth, and relationships. Whether we have lost a loved one to death; experienced divorce or separation; have had hopes and dreams crushed by traumatic experience; all are worthy of exploration and a search for a happier, satisfying, life.
I take a thoughtful and interactive approach with my clients. I encourage people to be curious about their lives, and I encourage them to deal with unresolved issues in order to gain relief from the stress that creates. I believe life is rich and exciting and shouldn't be missed!

Our vibrant and exciting women's group is now full! We will be particularly focused on self-esteem and relationships; decision-making skills regarding personal and professional transitions; and support for those experiencing major life losses or changes. In a nutshell, it is an insight-oriented personal growth group exploring what is possible in our lives. Co-led by 2 seasoned professionals,the group is run in a safe and confidential manner making it a rewarding journey for participants.
