I believe that a therapeutic relationship should be supportive and draw on your strengths to overcome life's barriers. I practice from a cognitive behavioral and strengths based approach. For the last nine years, I have worked full time in both adult inpatient and emergency department hospital settings with clients with terminal and psychiatric illness and gained invaluable experience in grief and loss counseling and mental health. Prior to this I spent eight years counseling adolescents with low self-esteem and depression. I would like to be your guide that helps you shape your individualized therapeutic goals.

My primary areas of focus include: depression and anxiety, relationship issues, Bipolar Disorder, Adolescents, and Family Therapy. I also provide individual and group clinical supervision for social workers and mental health clinicians seeking supervision to fulfill to licensing requirements.
