Is it time for change? For the past 18 years, I've helped clients to heal emotionally, repair relationships, and discover their unique paths to personal and professional satisfaction. I use a holistic ("whole person") approach, and will help you find the answers already within you. I'll teach you how to listen to yourself (and your partner or family members), and face your fears. I'll give you objective feedback and specific tools. My office is a safe, peaceful setting in which to explore troubling situations, conflicts and self-defeating patterns, as well as to rediscover and reclaim your strengths.
I earned a Certificate in Family Therapy after 3 years of post-Master's training at the Family Institute of Philadelphia (American Association of Marital & Family Therapy-accredited), and hold Master's Degrees in Social Service and Law & Social Policy from the Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work & Social Research.
I'm trained in EMDR (for trauma/PTSD). I'm also a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor -- I no longer see "active" addicts/alcoholics (except for evals), but often work with ACOAs, family members and those in recovery for at least 30 days. New for 2011 -- ANGER MANAGEMENT FOR COUPLES classes!
