Have you ever found yourself isolated at home, or avoiding friends? Have you ever felt stuck or trapped, unable to think of solutions to your problems? Do you self-medicate with drugs or alcohol, food or sweets? What about caffeine or the computer? Does it feel as though no one could possibly understand you and do you wonder why other people don't seem to be troubled by problems the way that you are? Do you suffer from chronic pain, cry easily, or lack the ability to enjoy your life? If any of these are true for you, don't give up hope! Please keep reading.
You are definitely not alone. Most people go through serious challenges at some times in their lives. Simply transitioning through the different stages of life can leave us with "unfinished business."Relationships end, loved ones die, we struggle to make ends meet...
All this can result in grief, loss, stress, anxiety, and unresolved childhood issues - like abandonment, abuse and neglect, low self-esteem or other trauma... It takes courage to ask for help. So before things get worse, have the courage to give me a call at the Tucson Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy.
