Don Edwards

I focus on gay men's issues, relationship issues, couples counselling, family conflict, developing acceptance snd dealing with depression, anxiety, loss and adaptation in these situations. I work with individuals and couples, one on one and in group settings. My approach draws on several streams of therapy, principally existential and psychodynamic. I am particularly interested in the role of creative expression in supporting personal growth, individual identity and overall mental health.

I am also a member of the Relationship Coaching Institute helping singles find the love of their life and couples derive the most from their relationship. As a vocational counsellor, I address issues of career development, career transition and work/life balance.

Long term therapy is not an option for many people. My goal is to catalyze change in every session including the first.
