“I grew up in Boston,Ma. In 1965 I went to The Menninger Clinic for two years of postdoctoral clinical training and stayed the next 34 years. During that time my wife and I raised 3 children Now I am in the private practice of individual and group psychotherapy,couples therapy and psychoanalysis.I love tne work and will not retire until necessary. I continue to learn from my work with patients,from teaching,from supervisees and I obtain ocassional supervision.

My therapy is psychoanalytically oriented. During 40 years of clinical practice I have become familiar with a wide range of people and every variety of problem. I am guided by the idea that it is the relationship of patient and therapist that is the vehicle for change.

I am a supervising and training analyst in the Kansas City Psychoanalytic Institute and direct a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy training program. Office hours are flexible depending on the needs of patients. I can usually return calls within 24 hours.”
