Using a variety of tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, this group aims to help individuals suffering from alcohol/substance abuse identify the maladaptive coping strategies and the contributing factors to their problems. Coping skills and communication training to improve damaged/broken relationships will be addressed.You will be helped to develop your own individualized relapse prevention plan. This is not an AA meeting or a 12-step program. The group has 16 sessions and consists of a minimum of 5 clients and a maximum of 10 clients, thus registration is required.
