Patterns help us live with ease, but can limit freedom in relationships, daily life and self-expression. My goal is to increase your awareness of alternatives and help you function more flexibly so not only is well-being improved- feeling in a better mood or less anxious, increasing healthy habits- but also you can expect a more satisfactory life working toward personal and professional goals. For individuals whose work includes creative pursuits, my aim is to clarify your values and help you sustain a meaningful effort toward those so more opportunities for creativity and success become available.
I value collaboration and work with you to understand your particular strengths, beliefs and goals, and incorporate these in our problem-solving efforts. I offer a range of modalities from brief cognitive therapies to deeper emotional approaches, and group treatment. Groups improve relationships, reduce isolation/anxiety, and facilitate major change.
Along with individuals, I work with couples to address long-standing issues underlying communication problems. I specialize in working with men, assisting with issues of adulthood, relationship difficulties and communication. And assist artists, writers, musicians and anyone working in the creative arts work through barriers to consistent practice and production.
