Dr. Eileen Schwartz

Psychologist , PhD

(617) 299-7269
As a therapist I help people to problem solve and to sort out emotional triggers that could be heightening their reactions. My style is active and collaborative and I strive to help each client see their strengths. I employ an integrated approach to psychotherapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems work, stress management, neurofeedback and energy psychology. I am trained in working with adults, children, families and couples.
Particular areas of interest include clients with health or learning challenges including ADD. I also enjoy working with creative clients including writers, musicians and artists as well as the LGBT community. Another facet of my practice includes neurofeedback (biofeedback for brainwaves) which can help alleviate stress, promote focus, and be an alternative to medication.
My Jamaica Plain practice is enhanced by my canine assistant Ollie whose job is to welcome clients and help them feel at home.
