If you are an adult, circumstances may be making your life too difficult: many responsibilities, divorce, unhappiness in childhood, or coming back from war. If you are a parent, you may wish that your child showed more love, respect, or independence. I help adults lessen problems with others, and I help good parents become great parents. Our consultation can be a short-term service to help you do more and feel better than you would on your own.

How can things get better? Positive factors within clients - within you - account for most change in therapy. Our work helps adults discover these positive factors and use them to improve relationships and cope with difficulties. Couples, individuals, and families are helped to find solutions to everyday problems.

I specialize in evaluating and treating adults and children who have faced upsetting changes and trauma. For 5 years I was on the faculty of a major medical center. My approach is collaborative, based on your strengths, scientifically valid, and goal-focused.”
