“A non-judgmental environment where you can explore your real feelings can make a world of difference and help you find solutions that are right for you. If you are feeling depressed, anxious, irritable, or overwhelmed; are unhappy and don't know why; if you keep having the same pattern of problems at work or in your relationships; or if you simply want more out of life, therapy can help you achieve change in unexpected ways. Change can come through understanding how childhood shaped your experience of self and others. We collaborate to help you grow at your own pace.

I have worked extensively with a wide range of diagnoses. I also have specialized training in treating trauma from single events and/or chronic circumstances, including childhood abuse. One of my passions is working with people who are experiencing difficulties or oppression related to sexual orientation, gender, race, or low income.

I tailor my interventions to your needs and goals, using an eclectic approach that focuses on your strengths. I use talk therapy and, as needed, simple and effective body-based interventions to help reduce anxiety and post-traumatic stress. My background in writing, education, meditation, and spirituality also informs my work.”
