Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Alliman

Counselor , MA , LPC

(719) 323-6523
I work alot with couples struggling in marriage. My husband, who is also a Masters level counselor, often works with me on Couples and we specialize in Couples Intensives - a four day program for local and out-of-state couples. Getting to the core problem as quickly as possible is my intent. I have great hope for all marriages. I often use testing and assessment measures to help expose the repetitive underlying matters. My husband and I have been married for 49 years.
I also enjoy working with men and women with depression and/or bipolar disorder. I have worked both inpatient and outpatient and feel people with personality or clinical disorders need an empathetic, genuine, warm and encouraging safe place to unravel the confusion and mystery of their particular struggle.
My approach has a strong Christian perspective with a balanced emphasis on both the spiritual and psychological. I have experienced a blended family (four kids), which resulted in major depression at one point. I have 'been there' which gives me a first hand insight to many individual and personal issues.
