Gaining insight into thought processes and belief systems instills a sense of control in our lives. Therefore, I take a solution focused, cognitive behavioral approach in therapy. The process includes mindfulness training, cognitive behavioral stress managment skills, communication skills, problem solving skills and exploration of personal conflicts and emotional stressors.
As positive changes are made in our thought process and behaviors,we are then able take a more proactive approach to our stressors. By practicing healthy coping skills negative emotions are reduced and the end result is better mental and physical wellness.
