“My approach to therapy is to meet my clients "where they are" and help them learn what they can control vs. what they can't control. I teach clients how to develop coping strategies to gain control over their thoughts and behaviors while learning how to let go of what they can't control.
I use a Cognitive Behavioral approach to help clients manage stress, adapt to life transitions, and understand the underlying causes of their problems. I am goal oriented and want my clients to walk away from their sessions learning new tools they can apply towards any problem.
I have much experience working with eating disorders and women's issues. I value the use of resources to give my clients support and guidance as they work through various issues. My combination of support vs. challenge allows my clients to develop their own strategies to solve future problems.”
