“As an Asian American clinical social worker and massage therapist, I am interested in exploring with individuals, couples and families of all ethnicities and background, how to better understand themselve and improve their relationships. I focus on people's inherent uniqueness, strengths, and resilience that they bring to sessions so we may work towards fulfilling their potentials. I have experience helping people address traumas, intra and interpersonal conflicts, especially between children and parents, ethnic and cultural differences, immigration and acculturation issues, aging, and spirituality. Although everyone has limitations, I emphasize possibilities, healing and wellness to reach your goals.

I have advanced training in family and child therapy from Walter Reed Army Medical Center, working with servicemembers from all over the world. I am comfortable working with cross cultural and intergenerational issues, people in crisis as well as those struggling with chronic concerns during home visits/treatment.

I received training in Parent Effectiveness, Systematic Training for Effective Parenting, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, Gestalt Therapy, Family Therapy, Play Therapy, Massage Therapy, and Our Whole Lives program in human sexuality. I believe therapy is an opportunity for individualized education based on people's past experiences and present motivations to grow.”
