My ideal client wants to deal with major emotional issues or life decisions, or simply speed up their rate of personal growth.

My experiences as a mental health center director, a broadbased clinician, and a behavioral science educator undergird my work. My compassion and integrity are also hallmarks. I work with all but the youngest children and most problems. My special interests are clients with eating disorders and physician collaboration.

From my toolbag I draw from psychodynamic principles, cognitive behavior strategies, interpersonal psychology and family therapy. I am also trained in hypnosis, which can be incorporated in ongoing therapy or serve as a stand alone tool for lifestyle issues and habit control. And--couples always get HOMEWORK! :-)
