Dr. Gail Majcher

Psychologist , PhD

(248) 455-6247
I know from 20+ years of experience that I can help you grow through your issues. I am a clinical psychologist and cohost of "Sunday Sessions", a psychological edu-taining show on WJR (www.WJR.com). I specialize in anxiety and depression and all other adult disorders. I also specialize in couples counseling focusing on their issues and communication techniques. I know my clients can restructure their thought patterns and behaviors to live a fulfilling life. Therapy is hard work but so is living in pain. You can feel better. For more info go to www.DrGail.com.
I practice "cognitive restructuring" enabling a person to change thought patterns. Many of our thoughts are simply habitual patterns. Therapy allows a person to bring these patterns to a conscious level. The client can choose to change patterns that are not currently working well for them in their life.
As a public speaker, I teach acceptance of ourselves and others. We can appreciate our differences and fully approve of ourselves. We do not have to be defined by negative past experiences. I published a book,"A Worthy Woman", focusing on overcoming the trauma of domestic violence (www.DrGail.com).
