“All of my work begins with an integrative approach based on training in a variety of techniques and a wide range of personal and professional experiences. Working with children, adolescents, and adults has focused me on how to adapt and tailor psychotherapy to individual client's needs. For children and adolescents, this may include play therapy, talk therapy or a combination. As a parent and practitioner with years of parent training behind me, I know that parents play an integral role in the therapeutic process. My professional experiences in intensive treatment settings have provided me with training in many areas.

I work with clients with a range of stressors including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, divorce, learning disabilities, severe behavioral problems, parent-child relational issues, peer conflict, and low self-esteem that can lead to self abuse. I work very effectively with individuals with co-occurring substance abuse issues.

Working with adults in the context of work, family and other relational situations provides me with a basis to practice an integrative technique encompassing a person's emotional, spiritual, and social lives in way that lead to healing that I have observed to be more long lasting and meaningful.”
