My therapeutic approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, as well as strength-based and client-centred. I understand that each child, adolescent and adult have their own unique strengths and needs. I work with each client to explore their strengths and empower them to feel and express their emotions. I also recognize the importance of each client's diversity in their own life experiences, including age, sex, race, culture, sexual orientation, and abilities.

I have worked over ten years with children, teens and adults with a specialization in trauma. I offer a variety of approaches to help clients work through unresolved issues such as; a traumatic experience, depression, anxiety, changes in work/career, difficult medical diagnosis, relationships, grief and loss, and life transitions.

My role is to provide a safe and trusting space where each client can explore and develop different strategies to realize their full potential. My commitment to each client is to help facilitate a therapeutic process which gives them "the strength to change and the roots to grow."

Taking the first step toward getting help is often the most difficult
