I enjoy being a therapist and look forward to seeing my clients everyday. I accept each client as a unique person who is created with a purpose and dignity. I listen intently to their story, join with them to establish goals and their successful journey of accomplishments. Women and men come to counseling for a variety of reasons but all seek to improve themselves or their situations in some way. Couples bring an energy and a need for higher levels of communication, understanding, and improved conflict resolution skills. Children and teens come to resolve issues and gain a clearer path.
I have a passion for couple therapy especially medical marriages. I also have a post-graduate certificate for counseling children and adolescents. I use Prepare/Enrich, Taylor-Johnson, Gottman, and MIM assessments as well as Play Therapy, Sand Tray, Filial Play Therapy, Theraplay, and Expressive Arts.
My therapy rooms are on the first floor with no steps, comfortable, safe, and pleasant. I also have a full children's play therapy room. This allows me to counsel a variety of clients in ways that best fit their needs. My availability: Weekdays 10-8 pm, Saturdays 10-5.

Every Tuesday at 12pm - 1pm

This is a group meets on Tuesdays at Noon until 1 pm. The group's topic is personal insight from a Christian perspective. Many people find this group to be a safe, comfortable place to start exploring themselves, the Christian character, and their relationships. We have a workbook to guide and give a structure to this group. I am now taking names for the next group starting in May.

Loss is something everyone goes through but not everyone deals with in the same way. Some have found it helpful to join a group that deals with loss and to hear how others experience it and process through it. We have a workbook to follow and plenty of fellowship.

Parenting can be made easier with a group that offers support and personal sharing, which is the focus of this group. The group does have a curriculum that it is based on but there is plenty of sharing and affirming of each other.
