As a legally blind counselor, I believe God has uniquely gifted me with an ability to better see into the hearts and souls of those I serve. Over the years, many have told me how comfortable they feel when working with me. They are not as anxious or self-conscious due to concerns of how I might be judging them based upon their outward appearance or mannerisms. This together with my genuine empathy for and desire to help others provides an environment which promotes greater openness and trust.

Degrees * Master of Arts in Religious Education with a major in Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas * 40 semester hours of post-graduate studies in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Colorado School for Family Therapy, Aurora, Colorado Professional Organizations: American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy - Clinical member American Association of Christian Counselors
