Mr. Jack D Dross

I work with children, 8-12 and adolescents in individual and family therapy. Issues include: depression, anxiety, stress, school problems, ADD/ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, grief and loss. I have worked extensively with children with divorce and step families. I have experience in Divorce Mediation and am Certified in the Love and Logic Parenting Program. I work to help families increase their ability to focus on their positives and build on their strengths rather than being trapped by habitual negative styles of thinking.

As a Licensed Mental Health Professional for over 15 years, I have learned to work with families from a problem solving, solution focused, cognitive and systematic approach. I address the family as a whole to facilitate effective and healthy communication with all members.

Love and Logic is a unique program designed to teach parents to demonstrate love and empathy when giving consequences rather than frustration and punishment. This gives their children the opportunity to be responsible while empowering kids and teens to make their own decisions. which prepares them for the real world.
