This practice is only accepting MBCT group clients. Life can be difficult. We frequently face challenges that push us to our limits, making it difficult to cope and see options. During hard times it is helpful to have increased support and guidance. I am a Licensed Psychologist and have been in practice since 2005. In my work, I strive to be empathic, encouraging and challenging, assisting clients in making significant life changes. I pride myself in being a strong listener who will work to understand you and respond without judgment.
My private practice focuses on the individual treatment of college students and adults. I have expertise with a wide variety of presenting problems including depression, anxiety, self esteem, relationship concerns, LGBT concerns, and body image/eating disorders.
I offer a free phone consultation to briefly discuss your concerns and interest in psychotherapy. The phone consultation is an opportunity to determine together whether my services will best meet your needs. Currently, appointments take place at my office in Towson and I offer teletherapy sessions, for which I am certified. Free parking is available.

Mindfulness based cognitive therapy group
Mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) is a research supported approach found to help adults with a history of depression, anxiety & trouble coping with stress. Research has found MBCT to be as effective as anti-depressants. This 8-week online group teaches participants practices & skills that may aid in preventing future mental health episodes. Participants must commit to home practices & attending every group. This group is best suited for individuals between episodes or experiencing mild/moderate symptoms & without significant, active trauma symptoms or personality disorders. BCBS & EHP insurances accepted, or $35 a group. Intake + brief assessments required. Groups run September & February.
