I work best with clients motivated to address issues currently impacting life, family and/or work situations. I try to develop a willingness to explore and learn other thought and action patterns. I find working with adults more appealing than working with children, especially very young ones. Being a senior citizen I have an affinity for that age group.
Individual, Marriage, and Family therapy interests and training date back before my 1971 MSW at Tulane. My practice has involved therapy and teaching situations (e.g. conferences for couples). I see individuals and/or groups (especially couples).
Background: from a multi-lingual rural Louisiana family and my work settings widens my approach to people. Years in the Catholic clergy (in rural, Cajun French and multi-racial settings), school social work, family and parenting education, farmers market work, senior citizenship all contribute positively.
