Ms. Jami Parrish

I provide quality care in a safe environment, utilizing an integrative approach with psychodynamic, cognitive, and mindfulness-based interventions. Within the therapeutic relationship we create together, we will explore life's challenges and work toward the changes you would like to see in your life. I have worked with individuals and groups on a variety of issues stemming from life changes and stress (such as burnout, grief, and addictions), as well as chronic issues, like abuse or chronic pain. Many individuals come to me to heal and build skills to be more functional, present, and fulfilled in their lives.

My expertise is treating trauma and traumatic grief, including abuse and war traumas, and the ensuing issues that can develop such as depression, anxiety, and addictions including sexual compulsivity. I also work with their partners. Transgender and identity issues are a particular passion, as is helping individuals live more authentically.

Experience has demonstrated that therapy is most successful when the whole person is addressed. My approach not only has depth and explores meaning, but provides practical tools to help you in your daily life. I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship that fosters change, bringing more joy to life.
