Everyone has unique challenges and needs. I approach counseling with this mindset, and therefore each and every client is treated as an individual, not a number. Clients are encouraged to participate in their treatment outside of the session via "homework" to assist them in focusing on their goals. A holistic approach to counseling is followed, and I believe physical health and mental health go hand in hand. Therapy is best when one's strengths are utilized to assist them in achieving their goals.
My specialties include Trauma/PTSD, I am trained and certified in EMDR. Women's Empowerment through life changes is a special interest of mine. With a background in Education, ADHD and Learning Disabilities are another area of specialty.
In my practice there are a diverse group of therapists, each with different backgrounds and interests. We believe in matching our clients with the best suited therapist to meet individual needs.
