Jan L. Roberts

It is my privilege to work with the clients I serve. I have always thought that therapy is a gift that allows one's inner strength to emerge. I opened the doors of Center for Mindful Change in September 2010 after many years of planning. I have always envisioned a place where people could receive compassionate care while learning to harness their inner strengths from within.

My approach to therapy is centered on the client. The relationship between the therapist and client is the key to success. Whether you choose to schedule an appointment with me or someone else, remember that the relationship (the "right fit") and trust that develops during therapy will guide your progress.

I have over twenty years in human services, including Executive positions in nonprofits and large healthcare institutions. As a LCSW, I have worked at the Rockford Center in Delaware. In addition to my private practice, I am a faculty member at the University of Wilmington where I teach psychology.
