Welcome to my practice! I have worked as a clinical social worker for 25+ years, specializing in addictive families and trauma. In my outpatient practice the focus includes helping individuals and couples to: identify their problems and feelings, learn more adaptive coping, increase their self-esteem, and develop their ability to communicate more effectively. When appropriate, I strongly encourage participation in 12 step programs. I am certified in AIT (Advanced Integrative Therapy), a modality that enables the client to identify and heal underlying traumas which are causing present day problems. I am also certified in spiritual direction.

AIT is a groundbreaking integration of some of the most well-established therapeutic approaches, including analytic psychology, body-mind healing, cognitive science, object relations and spiritual teachings. It is a psychodynamic energy therapy that more quickly, deeply and gently heals trauma-induced emotional, physical and spiritual symptoms.

Although I am limited in accepting insurance, I will give a receipt that can be turned in to your insurance company.
