If you are suffering from the effects of trauma or from emotional pain, please seek help. There is relief for your anxiety, mood problems, panic attacks, flashbacks, emotional flooding, or numbness. Traumas that I have treated include combat/military, childhood abuse, domestic abuse, rape, bullying, traumatic medical procedures, auto accidents, deaths and other losses. I work collaboratively and compassionately with clients in conquering fears and anxieties, healing from past abuse or trauma, improving moods, overcoming limitations, and solving problems. You will be invited to plan a unique and holistic course of treatment--either short-term or a deeper exploration of issues.

I have advanced training in trauma, PTSD, and dissociation. If you are a trauma survivor, EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desenstization and Reprocessing--see www.emdr.com) can be powerfully effective. I also offer prolonged exposure and cognitive processing therary. As a psychologist, I am devoted to helping you find meaning, purpose, and joy in life.

If you are looking for short-term help through hypnosis, I am a trained hypnotherapist. Research shows that hypnosis is effective for treating Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Many clients get help through hypnosis for sports performance, weight loss, addictions, and anxiety.
